Social Studies Goals as a Teacher

Social Studies:

Different cultures provide us with different beliefs, religions, and ways of living. To gain appreciation of all people, children should have a decent understanding of other cultures and historical backgrounds of other people. In my classroom, I plan to introduce my students to the differences of cultures in other regions of this planet. I will challenge them to think of things that are similar and different. By learning all of this, the students will be more understanding and appreciative of other people, their feelings and ways of living.
